Job summary

Alpine, an ITW company, seeks an Engineering Team Lead to guide a skilled group of engineers and designers in delivering safe, code‑compliant truss solutions for North American customers.

You will plan workloads, review complex designs, mentor staff, and collaborate with sales, field teams, and software groups to improve tools, processes, and customer outcomes.

Travel up to 10% is required as part of field engagements and site visits to resolve issues and strengthen relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• PE certification is required.
• Experience with truss engineering or drafting for building components is preferred.
• Knowledge of TPI, NDS, ASCE-7, and related codes is a plus.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers and designers.
• Plan workloads to meet customer deadlines with accuracy.
• Provide technical oversight on complex truss designs and ensure code compliance.
• Engage with customers and field teams to resolve structural issues.
• Collaborate with sales, technical teams, and software development to improve tools and workflows.
• Champion standards and deliver training to enhance consistency and performance.
