Job summary

IMEG Corp in Vancouver, WA is offering a Summer 2027 Structural Engineering Internship. Over 10–12 weeks, you’ll assist a team with analysis, design, and implementation of structural systems in buildings.

This paid, mentored internship provides real project work and coordination across design processes. You will gain exposure to seismic rehabilitation, utility equipment qualification, and sustainability goals with a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Civil/Structural/Architectural Eng.
• Strong interest in design consulting.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Experience with AutoCAD and BIM software preferred.
• Clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects per IMEG standards.
• Research resources for projects.
• Support client relations and project documentation.
• Coordinate design and schedule with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document design decisions and meetings.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final checks.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic site observations as required.
