Job summary

IMEG in Vancouver, WA is hiring a Structural Engineering New Graduate for Summer 2027. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship and training from day one. Work with experienced engineers on structural systems analysis and documentation to support project goals.

You will collaborate across project life cycles, stay current with industry trends, and contribute to seismic retrofit and resilience projects in the Pacific Northwest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in civil/structural/architectural engineering or equivalent.
• Fundamental knowledge of structural design for buildings.
• Familiarity with design codes, materials, and structural analysis concepts.
• Experience with industry software for analysis and design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of structural systems for various materials.
• Gather project requirements from clients and communicate technical details.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Document design decisions and client instructions, monitor progress.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes and industry standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute to innovation efforts.
• Prioritize safety and professional conduct in all tasks.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to full project life cycle from concept to construction.
