Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead the structural design on projects and deliver high-quality designs across a portfolio of clients.

You will own the structural design, conduct analyses, and coordinate with cross-discipline teams to ensure cohesive project delivery. The role involves preparing drawings and specifications, investigating conditions, and contributing to reports while supporting construction through reviews and RFIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years in structural engineering; PE/SE a plus.
• Experience with concrete, steel, masonry and seismic design.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, aluminum, and masonry structures.
• Prepare structural drawings and specifications in compliance with building codes.
• Engage in cross-discipline coordination with team members for project execution.
• Provide construction phase support including shop drawing reviews and RFIs.
• Investigate existing conditions and prepare detailed reports.
