Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Structural Engineer to provide project leadership and technical proficiency across a portfolio of clients. You will own the structural design on projects, ensuring accuracy, codes compliance, and timely delivery through coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires investigating existing conditions, preparing reports, and supporting construction with drawings, RFIs, and substitutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering (structural course work) is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, aluminum, and masonry structures.
• Conduct existing conditions investigation and prepare associated reports.
• Prepare structural drawings and specifications in compliance with building codes.
• Engage in cross-discipline coordination with different disciplines and team members for project execution.
• Provide construction phase support including shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, change order preparation, and substitution requests.
• Flexibility to adapt and execute various assignments based on evolving needs.
