Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead and deliver high-quality structural designs for a diverse client portfolio. The role focuses on taking ownership of the structural design on projects and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The position requires 2+ years of experience in structural engineering, familiarity with ACI/AISC/IBC, and proficiency with RISA or STAAD. Hybrid work is available, with preference for candidates in Mountain or Pacific time zones near

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis required.
• 2+ years of structural engineering experience; PE/SE licensure preferred.
• Knowledge of ACI 318/350, AISC 360, IBC and ASCE 7.
• Experience with shop drawing reviews and RFIs in construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, aluminum, and masonry structures.
• Prepare structural drawings and specifications in accordance with codes.
• Investigate existing conditions and prepare reports with recommendations.
• Coordinate with disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure project delivery.
• Provide construction phase support including shop drawing reviews and RFIs.
