Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer to lead structural design on a portfolio of projects. You will perform analysis, develop drawings, and ensure code compliance while coordinating with multiple disciplines for cohesive delivery across time zones.

The role emphasizes ownership of the structural design, mentorship opportunities, and delivering high-quality outcomes. Hybrid work is supported; relocation within Mountain or Pacific time zones is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural focus or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of structural engineering experience; PE/SE licensure pursued encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, aluminum, and masonry structures.
• Prepare structural drawings and specifications compliant with codes.
• Investigate existing conditions and prepare reports with recommendations.
• Coordinate across disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure cohesive delivery.
• Provide construction-phase support including shop drawing reviews and RFIs.
