Brown and Caldwell, Inc. seeks a Structural Engineer to lead structural design on diverse projects in water and wastewater sectors. You will manage the structural design process, ensure code compliance, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes ownership of structural deliverables, experience with concrete/steel/masonry, and mentorship of junior staff. Hybrid work is available, with preferred proximity to multiple western offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering (structural course work emphasis) preferred.
• PE license preferred; SE license or pursuit encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, aluminum, and masonry structures.
• Conduct existing conditions investigations and prepare reports.
• Prepare structural drawings and specifications in compliance with codes.
• Engage in cross-discipline coordination for project execution.
• Provide construction phase support including shop drawing reviews and RFIs.
• Flexibility to handle evolving assignments.
