Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to join our Northeast region design team. You will perform structural analysis and design for complex projects, collaborate with lead engineers, and communicate across disciplines to ensure constructible solutions.

Ideal candidates will have a PE license, 4+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE 7/ACI/AISC. The role supports hybrid work from Northeast US offices and client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• MS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
• Plan and conduct work requiring judgement in evaluating engineering techniques and criteria.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers.
• Take ownership of your portion of the structural scope to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Develop and implement workflows and tools within the structural discipline.
