Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional Associate for the Northeast region to perform structural analysis and design across diverse projects. You will work with the Structural Lead, engineers and designers to develop concepts, finalize analyses, and communicate requirements to drawings and models.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering with a structural focus, a PE license, 4+ years in structural engineering, and experience with US codes and Navisworks/Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License (PE or PEng).
• At least 4 years of Structural Engineering experience.
• Experience with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Experience with structural analysis software (Navisworks, Bluebeam).
• Experience designing/analysing traditional steel and concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers/drafters and junior engineers.
• Develop design concepts and communicate structural requirements to model/drawings.
• Manage workload and take ownership of assigned structural scope.
