Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional Intermediate in the Northeast region. You’ll perform structural analysis and design, coordinate with the lead and other disciplines, and help develop design concepts for complex facilities.

Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, EIT, 2+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of US codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC). This role offers hybrid work and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• EIT certification.
• At least 2 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with US codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design under supervision.
• Develop engineering judgement and design concepts.
• Complete analysis and design, coordinating with Designers for paper and model delivery.
• Manage workload to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Identify scope changes and elevate to Lead as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team and client.
