Jacobs, a global leader in design and engineering, is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional Associate for the NE region. You will contribute to analysis and design, develop concepts, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on complex facilities.

The role emphasizes strong communication, adherence to US building codes, and ownership of structural scope. Hybrid work setup is available with opportunities for growth and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License (PE or PEng) required.
• At least 4 years of Structural Engineering experience.
• Experience with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform structural analysis and design tasks.
• Develop design concepts and communicate structural requirements.
• Perform calculations and check peers' work for accuracy.
• Manage workload and meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Advise on workflows and tool improvements within the team.
