Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer to support our multi-disciplinary design team on challenging power generation projects. The role offers remote flexibility and may be located at various Energy offices across the United States.

The candidate should have a solid foundation in structural design and experience with heavy industrial projects, including travel to sites and familiarity with building codes and design standards. Join a global team delivering impactful infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
2+ years of heavy industrial and/or power generation experience.
EIT or PE license preferred.
Demonstrated experience with design codes such as AISC, ACI 318, IBC, ASCE 7.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering analyses and design under supervision of licensed engineers.
Provide engineering support for multi-discipline design projects from scope development to construction completion.
Evaluate and apply building and design codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC).
Travel to project sites and meetings as needed.
Use computer software to solve structural engineering problems and create 3D models.
Assist with drawings and document production; develop technical specs, plans and details.
