Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer to support our multi-disciplinary design team addressing the most challenging engineering tasks in power generation. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
2+ years of relevant heavy industrial and/or power generation experience.
EIT or PE license preferred.
Experience with design/building codes such as the AISC Manual of Steel Construction, ACI 318, International Building Code, and ASCE 7.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering analyses under supervision of licensed engineers.
Provide engineering support for multi-discipline design projects from work scope development until construction completion.
Evaluate and apply building code requirements (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC).
Travel to project sites and meetings as needed.
Use software tools to solve structural engineering problems and develop 3D models.
