Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our power generation design team. You will contribute to heavy industrial and power projects, applying strong structural design fundamentals and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will use codes such as IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC; perform modeling, drawings, and technical specifications; and participate in site visits and reviews. Hybrid work options available with relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2+ years of heavy industrial and/or power generation experience.
• Experience with structural analysis and design codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analyses and design under supervision of licensed engineers.
• Provide engineering support for multi-discipline design projects from scope to construction.
• Evaluate applicable building and design code requirements (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC).
• Travel to project sites and attend meetings as needed.
• Use software tools to solve structural engineering problems and build 3D models.
• Assist with drawings, documents, specs, and details.
