Job summary

Jobtailor in Idaho is seeking a qualified civil/structural engineer to assist in designing and analyzing structural systems, develop designs and calculations, and ensure code compliance across steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.

You will gather project requirements, communicate with clients, support project planning, and contribute to quality control, construction documents, and site observations, while prioritizing safety and collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required.
• Knowledge of design techniques and standards for steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and structural systems.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, including structural mechanics and materials principles.
• Knowledge of industry-standard engineering software and structural analysis/design software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Basic knowledge of BIM software.
• Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
