Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston seeks a Structural Engineer to lead analysis, design, and detailing, coordinating with architects and engineers to deliver efficient, buildable solutions across steel, concrete, and timber systems. You will mentor junior staff, support day-to-day technical decisions, contribute to proposals, and engage in client-facing opportunities.

A Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering degree is required; PE/SE licensure is preferred; 4+ years of experience and proficiency with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
PE and/or SE licensure preferred.
4+ years of structural engineering experience.
Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, StructurePoint Software, and Revit.
Experience designing steel, concrete, and timber systems.
Ability to solve complex problems with confidence, balance priorities, and adapt designs effectively.
Strong communication and emerging leadership skills.
Commitment to mentoring junior staff and building professional presence.

Requirements
