Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry-level Civil/Structural Engineer in Missouri to support structural design tasks under supervision. You will assist in framing design, perform calculations, and contribute to construction documentation.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, knowledge of BIM software like Revit, and familiarity with IBC/ASCE7. Internship experience and EIT license are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field required
• Master's program in engineering preferred
• Internship in building design consulting preferred
• EIT license preferred
• Basic knowledge of BIM software including Revit
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of steel and concrete design for buildings
• Familiarity with IBC and ASCE7 loading requirements
• Familiarity with structural analysis software (Risa, RAM, ETABS, SAP 2000)
• FEM is a plus

Requirements

• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of principles relating to steel and concrete design for structural systems in buildings
• Understanding of building code standards and loading requirements, including IBC and ASCE7
• General knowledge of structural analysis software including Risa, RAM, ETABS, and SAP 2000
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu
• Finite Element Modeling (FEM) is a plus
