Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer II in Houston to join our Facilities Engineering group. This mid-level role performs project engineering tasks requiring sound judgment and independent decision-making, applying established structural techniques.

Responsibilities include design, analysis, drawings, calculations, client meetings, and coordinating with designers. Qualifications: ABET degree, EIT, 2+ years, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, RISA 3D, Navisworks, Bluebeam

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET accredited university.
• EIT qualification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 2+ years of structural engineering experience with proven project completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations per governing codes.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications; oversee others.
• Lead project engineering efforts and coordinate with clients and architects.
• Provide CAD drawings and support Designers/Drafters.
• Attend client meetings and perform field observations.
