Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer IV in Houston to join our growing Facilities Engineering group. This senior role leads complex engineering projects and mentors junior engineers while delivering high-quality structural solutions.

The position requires a ABET-accredited degree, 5+ years' experience, PE preferred and EIT required, with expertise in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and RISA. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 5+ years’ experience as a structural engineer.
• PE preferred, EIT required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex structural engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
• Serve as Engineer of Record or assist as needed on multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare CAD drawings and sketches for integration into drawings.
• Attend client meetings as a SME and coordinate technical documents.
