Job summary

Jacobs in the Northeast United States is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional Associate to join the design team. You will perform significant structural analysis and design, collaborating with the Structural Lead, other engineers, and designers to deliver robust, code-compliant solutions.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering with a structural focus, PE license, 4+ years of experience, knowledge of IBC/ASCE-7/ACI/AISC, and experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• At least 4 years of Structural Engineering experience.
• Experience with US building codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC.
• Experience with structural analysis software Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Experience designing/ analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design under supervision.
• Develop design concepts and communicate requirements to modelers.
• Collaborate with Structural Lead, other engineers and disciplines.
• Maintain quality control and timely delivery of work.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to teammates.
