Job summary

Centrus Energy seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications at the American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio. You will ensure structural steel, concrete systems, foundations, and equipment supports meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards from design through turnover.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years in structural design, analysis and field support in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of AISC, ACI, and seismic/building codes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications.
• Develop packages for foundations, structural steel, and equipment anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams for load and layout integration.
• Support field construction, RFI/RFC resolution, and as-builts updates.
• Develop procurement packages (ROMs/SOWs) for subcontracted fabrication.
