Civil Design, Inc. (CDI) seeks a Structural Building Engineer - Project Manager to lead building structure projects and support site groups with structural design.

This role requires a Master’s degree, PE license, IL licensure, and 8+ years of building design experience; travel up to 10% with bases in Collinsville, Effingham, Jefferson City, or St. Louis. CDI offers ESOP, flexible scheduling, and strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• IL Structural Engineer licensure.
• 8+ years building design experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering projects by defining scope and budgets and coordinating design.
• Serve as Engineer of Record, signing/sealing calculations and documents.
• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures.
• Be main contact with clients, contractors, and officials.
• Contribute to a wide variety of projects.
• Assist in engineering project proposals.
• Collaborate with leadership and teammates to meet schedule and budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures.
