Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks an experienced RN Stroke Navigator for the Stroke Program at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This per diem role covers clinic hours, approximately 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, with weekend work as needed. Position emphasizes coordination of acute stroke care and education to patients and families.

The RN will collaborate with neurologists, APPs, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based, timely care and to support regulatory and data-related goals of the stroke program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum three years of RN acute care experience in stroke care.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS).
• ACLS Certification or obtain within 3 months of start date.
• NIHSS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stroke patient care with neurologists, physicians and APPs.
• Support acute interventions and timely testing for stroke patients.
• Communicate treatment plans and assist with transport to higher levels of care as needed.
• Provide stroke education to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Contribute to stroke program data, quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
