Qualifications

• 3 years acute nursing experience required, ED/CC preferred.
• Must acquire and maintain 8 CEUs related to Stroke annually.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience in an acute-care hospital environment.
• Hours are flexible but require ability to handle high-priority, changing demands.
• Thorough understanding of clinical patient care.
• Commitment to the organization’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide consultative services for performance improvement in the stroke program.
• Oversee data collection, chart reviews, and data management for stroke patients.
• Coordinate referrals and regulatory compliance activities for Stroke Certification.
• Provide staff and community education on stroke initiatives and care.
