Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Manager, Stroke Program reporting to the Regional Director. You will oversee all operational aspects and evaluation of the Stroke Program and collaborate with departments caring for stroke patients across the continuum of care.

The role requires extensive clinical experience, data collection/analysis expertise, and program management skills to drive performance improvement and compliance with stroke care standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required.
• Experience with data collection, entry & analysis required.
• 2 years of program management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses advanced skills in quality assessment to perform audits and develop care standards, data repositories and outcomes related to stroke care.
• Collects and analyzes benchmarking data, focus studies, and clinical indicators; prepares reports and participates in continuous improvement projects.
• Abstracts and enters data into data management systems to support the program.
• Facilitates identification and documentation of performance variances and complications and develops action plans for process improvement.
• Coordinates internal stroke QA meetings and maintains minutes; assists with development and coordination of projects to enhance the Stroke Program.
