Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical and sales support for structural heart products, focusing on the Stroke Prevention offering including the Amplatzer Amulet LAA Occluder. You will train interventional cardiologists and cath lab staff, delivering technical guidance during procedures and driving education on device usage.

The role requires strong clinical orientation, 6 years CV experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience as required.
• 6 years cardiovascular experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Serve as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in‑service education for company products.
• Educate customer on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products.
• Inform customers of the latest product, therapy and technology developments in the industry.
• Actively engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcome to key messaging.
