Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support the Stroke Prevention portfolio, including Amplatzer, Amulet and LAA Occluder. You will educate interventional cardiology teams, assist during procedures, and translate product and clinical data into actionable guidance for healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a strong clinical orientation, 2–5 years of related experience, and a BS/BA or equivalent. Travel may exceed 50% .

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of related work experience.
• Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Educate interventional cardiology teams on the merits and proper clinical usage of Abbott structural heart products.
• Provide clinical support during procedures and troubleshoot device-related issues.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to ensure case coverage and favorable clinical outcomes.
• Translate product, clinical and market data into actionable insights for clinicians and hospitals.
• Travel as required, potentially exceeding 50% of the time.
