Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist in the Stroke Prevention area to educate and support healthcare providers in the use of Amplatzer, Amulet and LAA Occluder devices. You will train interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff, and ancillary personnel, providing technical support during procedures and sharing clinical data to advance product adoption.

The role emphasizes strong clinical orientation, with collaboration across Territory Managers to ensure cases and outcomes meet quality

Qualifications

BS/BA or equivalent experience.
9+ years of related cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years of Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific clinical experience.
Vendor credentialing requirements, possibly including COVID-19 vaccination; discuss accommodations with HR if needed.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and sales support through education of current and potential customers and procedure coverage.
Train interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff and ancillary personnel on Structural Heart products.
Provide technical support to physicians during procedures and communicate product/clinical data for marketing strategies.
Meet with healthcare providers to identify clinical needs and offer feasible solutions.
Role may travel up to 50%.
