Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Personal Training - Hourly Stretch Specialist to support members with braced Assisted Stretch and Recovery sessions. You will build relationships, educate members, and uphold the Life Time Brand while promoting stretch programs and services.

The role emphasizes safety, learning, and exceptional customer service on the fitness floor. You will conduct pre-participation screenings, document progress, and stay current with certifications and industry trends, contributing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Personal Trainer certification is required.
• CPR and AED certification is required.
• Knowledge of assisted stretching and recovery techniques.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for a class and lift up to 50 pounds.
• 1+ year of personal training experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred.
• Assisted Stretching Certification (AIS, FST, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs to drive goals and retention.
• Lead assisted stretch sessions using PNF and contract-relax techniques.
• Lead recovery sessions with assisted stretching, Hypervolt, and breathing drills.
• Engage in required role trainings and certifications.
• Demonstrate/stretch demos, assess client needs, and set goals.
• Provide fitness floor assistance, ensure safety, and educate members.
• Promote and sell stretch sessions and other training services.
• Complete administrative tasks for each client’s fitness plan.
• Stay current on certifications and industry trends.
• Deliver superior customer service and inclusive programming.
