Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an entry-level Streetlight Technician to repair and maintain streetlights from aerial devices. No prior experience required; paid on-the-job training is provided, with a weekly pay schedule.

This outdoor position uses safety gear and company equipment, and offers a comprehensive benefits package. You will operate heavy and light construction equipment, follow safety protocols, and coordinate with locating teams and traffic control.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient with voltmeter, power tools and hand tools.
• Weather permitting, 40-hour work week; overtime/weekend hours may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain streetlights from aerial devices.
• Operate digger derrick trucks, bucket trucks, backhoes and related tools.
• Follow safety and company protocols in all tasks.
• Keep logs and coordinate with locating companies and traffic control.
