Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an entry-level Streetlight Technician to install and maintain streetlights. You will operate aerial devices, follow safety protocols, and support emergency storm work as needed.

No prior experience is required; Paid on-the-job training is provided. This full-time, outdoor role includes company equipment, uniforms and PPE, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient with voltmeter, power tools, and hand tools.
• 40-hour work week; overtime and weekends may be required.
• Knowledge of power delivery components.
• Operate heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Performs streetlight installation and maintenance from aerial devices.
• Operates digger derrick, bucket trucks, backhoes and related equipment.
• Safely maneuver construction equipment during all tasks.
• Excavate ground areas for poles or foundations.
• Keeps logs and documents job progress.
• Works with locating companies to identify underground hazards.
• Reads plans, blueprints and as-builts and follows the plan.
