Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Lighting Technician C to install and maintain streetlights from aerial devices, ladders, and ground level. This entry-level position emphasizes safety, steady work, and coordination with property owners.

The role involves working around energized systems and may require flagging certification. You’ll support higher-level technicians on lighting construction tasks, travel for storm-related work, and comply with pre-employment screening as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Be able to provide proof of work experience, schooling, and any certifications obtained.
• Experience with energized high voltage systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Clears work area and maintains safe jobsite conditions.
• Excavates to assist in installation of structures or cable per contract spec.
• Communicates work with public and private property owners.
• May require flagging certification due to traffic exposure.
• Work on elevated surfaces.
• Assist a higher-level technician in lighting construction and maintenance.
• Safely work on voltage 600 volts or less with minimal oversight.
• All other duties as requested by Supervisors.
