Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Lighting Technician C to install and maintain streetlights and related equipment. The role involves working from aerial devices and ladders, communicating with property owners, and performing duties requiring climbing and safe operation of tools.

The position is entry-level and includes a comprehensive benefits package, with on-the-job training in lighting construction, safety protocols, and storm-response readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience with energized high voltage systems or related safety protocols.
• Ability to climb different structures and operate required tools and equipment.
• Proof of work experience, schooling, and any certifications obtained during your career.

Responsibilities

• Clears work area and maintains safe job site conditions.
• Excavates to install structures or cables as per contract specs.
• Communicate work to property owners.
• May require flagging certification; exposure to traffic.
• Work on elevated surfaces.
• Assist higher-level technician in lighting construction and maintenance.
• Safely work with voltage up to 600V.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
