Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Lighting Technician C in the United States, North Carolina. Entry-level role involving installation and maintenance of streetlights from aerial devices, ladders, and ground level, with emphasis on safety and coordination with property owners.

You will work with equipment including bucket trucks and digger derrick trucks, potentially requiring flagging and CDL consideration. Pre-employment screens may apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Ability to problem solve in unforeseen circumstances on the job.
• Experience or familiarity with energized high voltage systems.
• Ability to climb different structures and use required climbing tools.
• Ability to identify, operate and service all required tools and equipment (bucket truck, digger derrick, tensioners, puller, rollers, hand tool).

Responsibilities

• Clear work area and maintain safe jobsite conditions.
• Excavate to assist in installing structures or cables per contract specs.
• Communicate work to property owners whether public or private.
• May require flagging certification due to traffic exposure.
• Work on elevated surfaces.
• Assist higher-level technician in lighting construction and maintenance.
• Safely work with voltages up to 600 volts with minimal oversight.
• Perform any other duties requested by Supervisors.
