Job summary

The City of Asheville is seeking a qualified Equipment Operator II - Sweeper Driver to operate a street sweeper on City streets within the Public Works Department, Stormwater Division. The position requires scheduling Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED with vocational/technical training in heavy equipment and at least one year of experience. A valid North Carolina Class B CDL with endorsements is required.
