Job summary

EAB, a national education-focused data and analytics partner, is hiring an Analyst for Strategy & Operations to support the Commercial Analytics team. You will partner with sales and account management leadership, provide visibility into performance, and drive data-informed decisions to maximize revenue.

The role requires in-person presence in Washington, D.C. or Richmond, VA, typically at least one day per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/analytical field (economics, statistics, business, etc.).
• Minimum 2+ years of analytical or operational experience.
• Experience using Excel and/or SQL to query and analyze business data.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and insights from data.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to organize ambiguous work and plan without step-by-step direction.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to continuously improve skills.

• Forecasting commercial performance for executive visibility.
• Owning recurring reporting and deliverables for commercial leadership teams.
• Maintaining data integrity and scalable reporting infrastructure.
• Analyzing business problems and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations.
• Translating requests into structured work plans with milestones and risks.
• Collaborating with leadership to address critical business needs.
• Using SQL to transform and clean data for analysis.
• Creating reports and dashboards in Excel for actionable insights.
