Job summary

EAB is seeking a Senior Analyst to partner with sales and account leadership, delivering in-depth analyses that inform strategy and guide resource allocation. You will build technical proficiency across data platforms and translate complex data into concise insights for executives.

Based in Washington, D.C. or Richmond, VA, this role requires regular in-person presence in the office, typically at least one day per week. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in an analytical/quantitative field (e.g. economics, statistics, business, etc.)
• Minimum 3-4+ years of work experience in an analytical or operational capacity
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and/or SQL to query and analyze business data
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and insights from data
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and gain the trust of stakeholders
• Ability to organize ambiguous work, identify missing information, and establish an effective plan without waiting for step-by-step direction
• Strong attention to detail with a desire to solve challenging problems, and to constantly improve technical/analytical skills by learning new methods

Responsibilities

• Forecasting commercial performance to set expectations for the executive team
• Owning recurring reporting, meetings, and deliverables for assigned commercial leadership teams
• Maintaining data integrity and reliability, including identifying and resolving data quality issues
• Analyzing business problems and initiatives, and presenting clear conclusions and recommendations
• Translating ambiguous requests into structured work plans with milestones and risks
• Collaborating with commercial leadership to address business needs as a strategic partner
• Using SQL to transform and clean data for downstream analysis
• Creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in Excel for actionable insight
• Setting and maintaining sales and renewal goals using historical data and qualitative feedback
