Job summary

EAB (Education Advisory Board) is hiring an Analyst in Strategy & Operations. The role focuses on data-driven decision support for commercial leadership, including forecasting, reporting, and data quality.

You’ll build dashboards with Excel and SQL insights, influence strategy, and help set sales and renewal targets. The position requires in-office presence in Washington, DC or Richmond, VA, with at least one day per week on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical/quantitative field.
• Minimum 2+ years in an analytical or operational role.
• Experience using Excel and/or SQL to query and analyze data.
• Ability to communicate technical data insights clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to organize ambiguous work and plan independently.
• Strong attention to detail and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting commercial performance for the executive team.
• Owning recurring reporting, meetings, and deliverables for commercial leadership.
• Maintaining data integrity and improving reporting processes.
• Analyzing business problems and recommending actions.
• Translating requests into structured work plans.
• Collaborating with leadership to address needs.
• Using SQL to transform data for analysis.
• Creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Excel.
• Setting and maintaining sales and renewal goals.
