Cape Fear Community College is seeking a Workforce Development Program Coordinator to develop, market, implement, and coordinate courses that meet regional employment needs. The role provides administrative support to the Senior Director of Workforce Development and supervises designated instructors.

The position emphasizes strong communication with employers, schools, and students, along with grant writing and compliance tasks.

Formación

• Associate degree or higher required; instructional or training experience preferred.
• Experience developing and marketing continuing education or workforce programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of marketing techniques and business acumen in workforce development.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, market, implement, and coordinate courses to meet regional employment needs.
• Administer and supervise workforce training classes to meet regional employer needs.
• Communicate effectively with the public, students, faculty, and staff.
• Present to organizations, schools, and employer groups on program offerings.
• Analyze employment trends to ensure offerings meet demand and provide sustaining wages.
• Coordinate with employer advisory committees to align with labor market needs.
• Participate in grant writing opportunities.
• Stay informed on CEU/PDH requirements for various professions and coordinate with accrediting boards.
• Perform classroom observations and evaluate instructor performance to ensure quality.
• Evaluate course effectiveness via student evaluations and employer feedback.
• Comply with record auditing procedures and travel locally/statewide as needed.
