Job summary

Connecticut State Community College is seeking a Workforce Development and Continuing Education Coordinator to administer campus programs. You will oversee program planning, publicity, and evaluation, aligning non-credit healthcare and other workforce offerings with regional needs.

This on-site role requires collaboration with diverse learners and partners and may include evenings and weekends. January 2027 start preferred.

Qualifications

• Training program design in an adult/youth learning environment.
• Academic and office administration.
• Marketing, publicity writing or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Program planning and development for workforce development and continuing education.
• Administrative services for campus programs and courses.
• Publicity and marketing of programs and courses.
• Program evaluation and reporting.
• Attend convocation and commencement; participate in committees and meetings, including evenings/weekends.
