Job summary

Arcadis in the United States is seeking a Workforce Planning Major Projects Lead to coordinate mobilization, deployment, and demobilization of talent across large programs, aligning stakeholders and ensuring readiness throughout the project lifecycle.

You will act as a central coordination point across industries, services, and regions, defining governance, tracking readiness metrics, and escalating risks to support successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in workforce planning, resource management, major project delivery or related operational discipline.
• Strong understanding of workforce planning principles, resource management methodologies and operating models.
• Proven ability to support mobilisation activities ensuring workforce availability, capability and capacity.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central Workforce Planning coordination point for major projects across Industries, Sectors, Services, and Regions.
• Define workforce planning coordination requirements, governance expectations, planning cadence, and readiness requirements.
• Recommend mobilisation actions to support readiness and delivery.
• Identify and coordinate resolution of cross-project dependencies.
• Monitor deployment progress and escalate risks as needed.
• Track workforce mobilisation effectiveness and readiness indicators.
• Align planning activities between Project Leadership, WFP teams, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate end-to-end mobilisation, deployment, transition and demobilization across units, regions and services.
