Job summary

Pacific Life Insurance Company is seeking a skilled sales professional to support Broker Distribution within the Workforce Benefits organization. This remote role involves travel and focuses on building broker relationships, executing broker strategies, and driving growth toward sales goals in the Broker Distribution channel.

You will bring 5+ years in group benefits sales, a college degree in business or finance, and a proven ability to collaborate with underwriting, pricing, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in group benefits sales with an established presence in the broker marketplace
• College degree with concentration in business management, finance, or risk management or equivalent work experience
• Entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas
• Ability to seek opinions, process feedback and take smart risks
• High integrity, transparent and consistent in decision making
• Self-reflective, leads by example and drives performance with continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and execution of a strategy for Broker Distribution to meet sales, retention, profitability and expense objectives.
• Meet annual sales goals and deliver the Workforce Benefits story to the broker community.
• Strengthen, deepen, and grow broker relationships.
• Execute broker meetings and drive a pipeline of RFPs monthly.
• Build local broker relationships to drive sales and increase the Pacific Life brand.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the group products sold by Pacific Life.
• Coordinate with underwriting, product, pricing, and regulatory teams for alignment on deliverables.
