Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte City Center is seeking a Social Catering - Wedding Sales Manager to drive wedding and social event sales. You will lead the sales cycle, present venue options, and tailor proposals to client needs to secure contracts.

In this role, you will build lasting client relationships, collaborate with the events team, and develop strategies to meet revenue targets while delivering memorable experiences aligned with our hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in hospitality, catering sales, or event management.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• CRM and event software knowledge (Tripleseat, Delphi, Salesforce).
• Strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales process for weddings and social events with personalized attention.
• Showcase venues to clients, highlighting features and benefits.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships to exceed expectations.
• Collaborate with events team for seamless wedding and social events execution.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and hit targets.
• Prepare detailed proposals and contracts aligned with client expectations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.
