Job summary

Concord Hospitality is seeking a proactive Sales & Catering Manager to grow our wedding and social events business. This role focuses on generating new business, selling weddings, conducting site tours, negotiating contracts, and guiding clients from contract to execution.

The role requires flexibility to meet client meetings, wedding appointments, and events, with coordination across culinary and operations teams to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales, catering sales, wedding sales, event planning or related hospitality.
• Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close business.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive wedding and social event revenue through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship-building.
• Conduct site tours and consultations for prospective wedding and social event clients.
• Develop customized proposals and negotiate contracts for weddings, social events, and guest room blocks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for wedding clients through the planning process.
• Detail wedding events, create and distribute BEOs, and communicate requirements to hotel teams.
• Coordinate wedding planning meetings, menu tastings, rehearsal discussions, and pre-event communications.
• Book social events and hand off to Event Manager for detailing and execution.
• Collaborate with culinary, banquet, front office, and operations teams to ensure guest experiences.
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through upgrades and additional room sales.
• Maintain contracts, event documentation, and client records in company systems.
• Monitor sales goals, booking pace, and market trends to drive revenue growth.
• Represent the hotel at bridal shows, networking events, and community functions.
