Job summary

Phoenix American Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Catering and Sales Manager for the DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte Airport to proactively develop banquet, catering, meeting, event, and group room business. This role requires a proactive hunter with strong client relationships, contract-to-completion oversight, and collaboration with hotel departments to drive revenue.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of hotel sales experience.
• Experience selling banquet space, meetings, events, catering services, and group room blocks.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, events, deadlines, and revenue priorities with accuracy and consistent follow-through.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company-approved reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a proactive sales plan to generate banquet, meeting, catering, event, and group room opportunities.
• Conduct outside sales calls, prospecting, networking, client appointments, and follow-up activities to secure new business.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, planners, associations, and community organizations.
• Solicit, negotiate, and close banquet events, catering programs, and group room blocks.
• Manage room revenue and production for designated market segments and accounts.
