HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Professional Services Director who will provide executive leadership for technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice. You will align practice groups, strengthen delivery capabilities, and advance standards to improve client outcomes. The role emphasizes collaboration with operations, marketing, and technology leadership, driving continuous improvement across HDR’s global platforms.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in professional services, program management, or delivery leadership.
• Leadership of diverse technical and service delivery teams.
• Strong QA/QC, risk management, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Executive presence and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Active participation in industry associations and HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff in technical, professional, and service delivery competencies.
• Evaluate, adopt, and integrate professional services technologies and delivery tools.
• Coordinate staff training on policies, processes, and risk management.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization across the group.
• Support recruiting, staffing, and cross-group collaboration for delivery strategies.
• Partner with program and project delivery services to ensure quality outcomes.
