Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Professional Services Director to provide executive leadership for quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice. The role aligns technical practice groups across the matrix organization, strengthening delivery capabilities and advancing standards, processes, and best practices to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

• 15 years of experience in leadership of professional services or related domains.
• Experience managing technical teams and practices.
• Active participation in AEC industry associations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development and training of staff in technical, professional, business, and service delivery competencies.
• Coordinate and implement QA/QC programs to ensure quality and delivery requirements.
• Lead and coordinate technical and delivery approaches for strategic initiatives and complex programs.
• Support recruitment, staffing, and collaboration across groups to advance delivery strategies.
