Job summary

HDR is actively seeking a Water Business Group Professional Services Director to lead technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice.

The role aligns technical practice groups, strengthens delivery capabilities, and advances standards to enhance client outcomes across regions. You will mentor diverse teams and drive continuous improvement while partnering with leadership to position HDR as a global architectural leader that values employee ownership.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in professional services, program management, or delivery on large-scale projects.
• Experience leading and developing technical teams and practices.
• Must actively participate in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development and training of staff in technical, professional, business, and service delivery competencies.
• Develop approaches to new technologies and digital delivery methods in support of group initiatives.
• Lead evaluation, implementation, and adoption of professional services technologies and delivery tools to improve quality and delivery.
• Coordinate staff training on company policies, processes, and risk management.
• Lead continuous improvement through standards, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Support recruitment, staffing, and cross-group collaboration to advance delivery strategies.
