Job summary

Amentum is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Finance Excellence and Transformation to steer a technology-centric enterprise-wide finance transformation. You will craft a multi-year roadmap unifying the finance landscape and creating a scalable operating model to support long-term profitable growth.

Reporting to the Senior VP of Enterprise Finance, you will partner with CFO leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive modernization, data governance, and automation across H2R, P2P,

Qualifications

• Typically 12–15+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Program Finance, or Financial Operations, with at least 5 years leading enterprise-wide finance transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams and managing transformation projects with post-M&A financial integration and data harmonization in a GovCon environment.
• US Citizenship is required to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Transformation Vision: Collaborate with CFO leadership to create a compelling finance transformation vision that aligns with strategy and identifies value opportunities.
• Engage stakeholders to secure buy-in and foster collaboration across business leaders early in the process.
• Lead end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of an enterprise-wide finance transformation program.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, external consultants, and technology vendors to ensure delivery.
• Define and monitor KPIs; communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
